Inspired by the tradition and ambience of the pastoral world around us, Idyll Days is a beautifully rustic Belgian-style pilsner. This time-honored creation is brewed with authentic floor-malted barley from the Czech Republic, fermented with a Belgian lager yeast, then patiently cellared until mature. Presented in its essential, unfiltered form, Idyll Days is glorious in its simplicity.
“Pilsner” is a term that’s been misused by industrial brewers for so long that many have forgotten how fun and flavorful this style of lager can be. Forge Ahead pays homage to ancestral pilsners with its all-malt foundation but adds the twist of modern American hops, yielding bright, focused citrus notes. The finish is dry and crisp, with a balanced bitterness that invites another sip.
