Yuengling Golden Pilsner is the newest beer from D.G. Yuengling and Son, Inc., America’s Oldest Brewery. This highly sessionable beer is our interpretation of an outstanding, modern pilsner, born from six generations of brewing expertise. Golden in both name and color, Yuengling Golden Pilsner is the perfect balance of hop and malt character for a crisp and smooth thirst quenching refreshment.

Citra-Pils is our special twist on the classic pilsener style of lager beer. We brew this lager in the most traditional way, using only light pils malt and Saaz hops. After a six-week lagering process, we dry hop this beer with a blend that includes Citra hops along with the Saaz. The bright lemony citrus notes of the Citra complement the noble Saaz character perfectly, yielding a delightfully refreshing pilsener with a decidedly nontraditional twist.

“Pilsner” is a term that’s been misused by industrial brewers for so long that many have forgotten how fun and flavorful this style of lager can be. Forge Ahead pays homage to ancestral pilsners with its all-malt foundation but adds the twist of modern American hops, yielding bright, focused citrus notes. The finish is dry and crisp, with a balanced bitterness that invites another sip.
