Two Roads Holiday Ale has a deep malt flavor with notes of treacle, toasted malt and caramel. The malt character is accented by the mild herbal presence of French Strisselspalt and Aramis hops. The beer drinks remarkably light for its 7.3% ABV.
This red varietal is an uncommon union of a wheat ale that is co-fermented with petit verdot and petite sirah grapes. The finished 51% beer and 49% wine hybrid is dry and slightly tart, with earthy aromas from the hop build complimented by complex grape flavors of plum, cherry and black pepper.
