Its modern recipe—an American IPA brewed entirely with Centennial hops—was released in 1997, replacing an earlier, malt-forward version from the 1980s. Our super-fantastic IPA is continually hopped throughout its entire boil for a powerful yet balanced hop character. 60 Minute IPA was first brewed on a glorified homebrew rig and used a vibrating magnetic football game to add more than 60 doses of hops throughout the beer’s 60-minute boil.
