We took our Lactodaisical sour ale and added a whole bunch of blueberries to it, giving this beer a purplish-blue hue while adding a bit of sweetness to balance out the adicity.

Okay, so watch this magic trick - a thrilling jolt of tartness up front opens onto a riot of tropical fruit, courtesy of our lacto, our ale yeast, and a generous helping of Amarillo dry-hopping. Soft barley malts, wheat and spelt keep things dry and refreshing, and the whole thing comes together like a blend of Champagne, hops, and an unusually good pineapple.

This delicious and beautiful sour wheat beer aged on raspberries was awarded the silver medal in the Hudson Valley Wheat Beer category at TAP New York in 2016.
