Named for the iconic Black Butte that towers high above Central Oregon, this is the beer that started it all. With notes of rich chocolate and coffee, a luscious creaminess and a roasted finish, Black Butte Porter doesn’t only have fans…it has followers. Tastings, pairings, atherings—there’s nothing this bold classic can’t do.
We set out to create a bold, complex beer that tastes like raspberries and chocolate. This rich ale is the result. We artfully blended six different malts to achieve deep cocoa flavor. Over a pound of raspberries per gallon were added to the young beer to provide fresh, bright fruit character. Complex malt and fruit, but simply delicious.
Our Lock 9 Porter brewed with Electric City Roasters Bali Blue Moon coffee and vanilla beans. Rich roasted malts with smooth mocha overtones combine with coffee and vanilla to create this full-flavored drinkable beer.
