The Discovery Series showcases the art of blending hand-selected, supremely aged bourbon. For each release, team members throughout the distillery taste, analyze, and vote on the best recipe. It is a celebration of our collaborative spirit, working together to create something unique and spectacular.

Many argue that crafting a perfectly well balanced whiskey blend is harder than distilling whiskey itself. We're not saying one or the other, we happen to love both. For years our master distillers have scoured the country for straight bourbons of different ages and mash bills to blend with our own straight bourbon to create a smooth, full bodied whiskey for all enjoy. Bourbon is America's whiskey and this bottle is a tip of the cap to her best efforts. Meticulously tasted a tweaked throughout the entire process. You will surely enjoy our Adirondack Blended Straight Bourbon.

Inspired by our founders great, great grandfather, A. Coors, the Barmen 1873 name honors his birthplace and the year in which he established his legacy, now 150 years strong. That same legacy of ingenuity and grit still runs through our veins at Coors Whiskey Co. here in Golden, Colorado.

Our master distiller scours the country for straight wheated bourbons no less that 4 years old to blend to create a smooth, full bodied, easy drinking bourbon for all to enjoy. We pack this at barrel strength to retain the subtle flavors and aromas that would otherwise be lost in the proofing process. Age 4yr, 116 proof
