Witte is our version of the classic Belgian wit or "white" ale. Witte, which is actually Flemish for white, is brewed with malted and unmalted wheat, orange peel, and coriander - offering a refreshing style that showcases the Belgian talent for brewing full-flavored ales that are also light and balanced. It is pale straw in color, slightly hazy from the yeast, and topped with a huge white, fluffy head. Witte is pleasantly light on the tongue, balanced between malt and wheat sweetness. Hops and spice with a subtle clove note backed by flavors of lemon and sweet orange give way to a dry, crisp, refreshing finish.

Imagined in Belgium and crafted in Denver in 1995, Blue Moon Belgian White is one of the first Belgian-Style Wheat Ales in the United States. Blue Moon Belgian White is an unfiltered wheat ale brewed with Valencia orange peel which provides a subtle sweetness and smooth finish. As a final touch, we add our iconic orange wheel garnish to help accentuate the citrus aroma in our beer

In developing this beer, the Paulaner Brewmasters have perfected a unique technique with ”yeast suspension”, resulting in a uniform, slightly cloudy appearance, consistent quality and perfect taste. This traditional unfiltered Hefe-Weizen is naturally cloudy and warm silky gold under a really strong head of foam. At first mouthful, some will detect a hint of banana aroma. Fine palates perceive trace of mango and pineapple and the balance between sweet and bitter. Overall, beer connoisseurs appreciate the incomparable flavor of Paulaner Hefe-Weizen for its perfectly balanced mix of aromas and refreshing taste. It’s a superb biergarten or outdoor drinking bier.
