Brooklyn Winter Lager is our answer to the heavy ales and stouts that emerge in wintertime. Though dark in color with a sturdy presence, our Schwarzbier-inspired lager layers notes of chocolate, roasted barley, and dark bread into a 5.6% ABV frame that finishes surprisingly light and pleasantly dry. Winter means different things depending where you live, but Brooklyn Winter Lager is ready for any chill.
Centuries of tradition and brewing expertise play equal roles in the making of this beer. Our Märzen spoils the nose with fruity notes of cassis and earthy tones reminiscent of cedar. A beer with a distinctive, unique character – but still very mild and a joy to drink. Every sip a taste of Bavaria’s joy of life. Barley from the region is used to produce this unique beer, a grain famous for its very rich soil.
Negra Modelo was born at the quarter of the 20th century. To craft something truly unique, our Brewmasters created the Munich Dunkel (dark) style lager by slow roasting caramel malts, a technique that makes the brewing process last twice as long as other beers. We think it’s worth the wait.
More than 200 years old, family-owned Bitburger Brewery uses an exclusive mix of hops toward its famous pilsner—a classified blend never shared outside its walls. Until now. Our collaboration Oktoberfest features what Bitburger calls Siegelhopfen, meaning “sealed hops,” which complement the malt backbone. What’s more, the whole beer comes to life thanks to Bitburger’s custom yeast, another house ingredient gifted for the first time ever.
