C.J. DeCrescente has been the President of DeCrescente Distributing Company since 1997. Prior to being named president, C.J. worked various positions within the company since 1979. He is third generation, succeeding his grandfather and father who established the company in 1948.

C.J. is highly recognized in the beverage industry, having been appointed to and serving on notable industry-related National Business councils including Heineken USA, Molson Coors, Constellation (Corona), The Boston Beer Company and North American Breweries (Labatt). Under his leadership in expansion, acquisition and best practices, the company has been honored as one of the Capital Region’s Best Places to Work by The Albany Business Review consecutively since 2010.

C.J. and his team at DDC are actively involved in a long list of charitable institutions throughout the Capital District. He currently serves as Chairman for the NYS Police Signal 30 Organization and is an active board member for NENY Alzheimer’s Association, The David Ortiz Children’s Foundation and the Saratoga Performing Arts Center.

C.J. is also a founding partner of Keg 1 LLC. Originally started as a peer group of 10 beverage wholesalers in various parts of the country sharing best practices, the group formed a partnership in 2007 and began investing in beverage opportunities. The group currently distributes in Texas and Colorado Springs. The members and Keg 1 entities combined sell and deliver more than 100 Million cases annually.

Outside of work, CJ is always busy with his four children, Jess, Carmine, Matt and Payton, and his 5 grandchildren. He is a diehard Yankee fan and is always looking to lower his handicap in golf!
