C.J. DeCrescente is the President and Chief Executive Officer of DeCrescente Distributing Company. Founded in 1948, DDC has grown into a regional industry leader, operating from a 375,000-square-foot headquarters in Mechanicville, New York. The company employs more than 400 associates and serves approximately 3,000 customers across 11 counties.

C.J. began his career at DDC in 1979, working through nearly every aspect of the business, starting as a route delivery driver. He became President in 1997, succeeding his father, Carmine Sr.

Under C.J.’s leadership, the company has expanded through strategic acquisitions, implemented industry-leading operational practices, and earned recognition from the Albany Business Review as one of the Capital Region’s Best Places to Work for 15 consecutive years.

In addition to leading DDC, C.J. is a founding partner of KEG 1, LLC (Knowledge Exchange Group), a peer organization established in 2007 by nine leading beverage wholesalers operating in diverse markets across the country. KEG 1 member companies operate distributorships in Texas, Colorado, Kentucky, Iowa, and Missouri.

A strong advocate for community engagement and philanthropy, C.J. has served on numerous boards and believes in personal involvement beyond financial support. Under his leadership, DDC maintains a deep and enduring commitment to charitable organizations throughout the Capital Region.

Outside of work, CJ is always busy with his four children, Jess, Carmine, Matt and Payton, and his 5 grandchildren. He is a diehard Yankee fan and is always looking to lower his handicap in golf!
