A stronger version of the classic American Amber Ale aged on fresh cherries and raspberries.

Named in honor of our co-founders bike trip through Europe, Fat Tire Amber Ale marks a turning point in the young electrical engineers home brewing. Belgian beers use a far broader palette of ingredients (fruits, spices, esoteric yeast strains) than German or English styles. Together with co-founder Kim Jordan, they traveled around sampling their homebrews to the public. Fat Tire won fans with its sense of balance: toasty, biscuit-like malt flavors coasting in equilibrium with hoppy freshness.

A medium-bodied amber ale with a brilliant copper hue. It is brewed using top fermenting ale yeast and a high porportion of imported Munich malt creating a clean and crisp beer with a toasty, fruity backbone.

Red Tail is an amber ale with a rich complex refreshing flavor and a crisp dry finish. It is brewed in the traditional old world manner, using premium two-row malted barley, hops and a special proprietary yeast strain.
