ITHACA CHAI PUMPKIN
For those who enjoy Chai tea, you’ll recognize the distinct clove and cardamom spicing, paired with a traditional pumpkin spice blend. The brew is finished with a delicate amount of natural black tea extract creating a herbal essence in the aroma. Tea is sometimes enjoyed with milk or cream to cut through any astringency the spices and tea may leave. Lactose works well to fill that role by leaving a pleasant amount of residual sweetness and enhanced malt character. We add pumpkin puree to the mash that includes Crystal, Munich, and Vienna malts creating an authentic pumpkin profile.
