The Margarita is awesome. Who wouldn’t want to take credit for inventing it? Some say it first appeared in a cocktail book in 1937. Some claim it was named after a Mexican showgirl in 1938. Or possibly a guy named “Pancho” Morales invented it in 1942. Wait a triple sec… We’re asking the wrong questions here. Maybe we should ask who best RE-invented the margarita.
