Our Discovery Series highlights the art of blending, combining exquisite whiskies to the sum is better than any individual part. Discovery 13 transforms luck into legend with a bold blend of Kentucky Bourbon which has then been finished through double-barreling in a mixture of new American and Hungarian Oad barrels. This limited release embraces the mystery of its number, offering a Discovery Series that's rich, layered, and for the first time in the series history; double-barreled.

Our master distiller scours the country for straight wheated bourbons no less that 4 years old to blend to create a smooth, full bodied, easy drinking bourbon for all to enjoy. We pack this at barrel strength to retain the subtle flavors and aromas that would otherwise be lost in the proofing process. Age 4yr, 116 proof

Inspired by our founders great, great grandfather, A. Coors, the Barmen 1873 name honors his birthplace and the year in which he established his legacy, now 150 years strong. That same legacy of ingenuity and grit still runs through our veins at Coors Whiskey Co. here in Golden, Colorado.
