Celebrate Responsibly this Thanksgiving
Safe Ride Home Program:
November 24 – November 28, 2021
DeCrescente Distributing Company and the Downtown Albany Business Improvement District (BID) present the ‘Downtown Thanks You’ safe ride home program from November 24 – November 28, 2021. This program is designed as a way to express gratitude to locally owned businesses and the public that continues to support them in challenging times. The Uber campaign will provide patrons of downtown bars and restaurants with a one time, Uber voucher that will cover your ride up to $50 until funds are exhausted.
The program will begin at 8:00 AM on Wednesday, November 24, and conclude at 11:55 PM on Sunday, November 28. Users will be able to access the voucher by scanning the QR code on posters and flyers at each participating location to redeem a voucher worth up to $50 for a free Uber ride home.
Free night and weekend parking is also available at Albany garages in downtown, so those taking advantage of the program can leave their vehicles in a secure location. For more information, visit parkalbany.com
“We have had this free ride program as an employee benefit for more years than I can count, and we are excited to be able to support the Downtown community even further by providing a safe ride home for whoever want to enjoy our products,” said Carmine DeCrescente III, vice president of DeCrescente Distributing Company.
“We are truly grateful for the continued support of the loyal customeres that helped sustain Downtown businesses through this extraordinary difficult year,” says Downtown Albany BID executive director Georgette Steffens. “Through the generosity of DeCrescente Distributing Company, we hope to give back to our neighbors while also promoting safety and responsibility this holiday season. So pull up a seat at your favorite tavern or eatery, thank the staff for all they do, and let us take care of the Uber ride home!”
From your friends at DeCrescente Distributing Company, we hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving with your family and friends, and as always, please remember to celebrate responsibly, cheers!
