Update: DeCrescente, Mohawk Chevrolet & Mohawk Honda collected 182 pairs of sneakers and hoodies that will be given to local kids in need for the school year! Thank you to everyone who donated! Check out the recap video from drop off day below!

DeCrescente wants to make the first day of school extra special for local children in need with the “Kicks for Kids” sneakers & hoodies drive.

Through Aug. 12, DDC is collecting new, name-brand sneakers and hoodies at their headquarters building at 211 N. Main St. in Mechanicville.

The goal is to collect 150+ pairs of sneakers & hoodies to be distributed locally before the first day of school.

We hope that by providing these items that these kids may not otherwise be able to afford, we can help kids be confident and happy as they embark on the first day of the new school year.
