Switchback’s Roasted Red Ale is a deep mahogany red colored ale. Its flavor leads with a rich malty sweetness balanced with a bold hop signature, followed by a delicate chocolate/cocoa roasty finish. The strong malt backbone is derived from a combination of caramel and roasted malts. This is balanced by the bold aroma of an ample blend of Simcoe and Amarillo hops.
