This sour has a rich blend of tropical fruit notes with hints of pineapple, mango and guava. With pleasing tartness, it’s a tropical twist on a refreshing fruit gose.
Based off of the foundation fruits of the tropical cocktail, a Painkiller, we gave this beer the Double Dare Gose treatment. This double sour features salt and coriander in the boil, soured with Lactobacillus and refermented with a heavy dose of pineapple, orange, and coconut.
Okay, so watch this magic trick - a thrilling jolt of tartness up front opens onto a riot of tropical fruit, courtesy of our lacto, our ale yeast, and a generous helping of Amarillo dry-hopping. Soft barley malts, wheat and spelt keep things dry and refreshing, and the whole thing comes together like a blend of Champagne, hops, and an unusually good pineapple.
Sierra Nevada Wild Little Thing is a slightly sour ale brewed with guava, hibiscus, and strawberry.
