We are currently seeking a Controller to join our team!
The Controller plans, directs, and coordinates all accounting functions including maintenance of the Balance Sheet and Income Statement. The Controller is also responsible for preparing financial forecasts and providing accurate financial information to Senior Team Members and will also define and implement operational best practices, and look for new ways of effectiveness in their perspective departments. The Controller also leads the Company in the annual independent audit, as well as any external audits required by Federal or State agencies.
Successful candidates will possess the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 5-7 years’ accounting experience
- Excellent technology, analytical and management skills
- Strong presence when communicating verbally in a group setting
- Sense of urgency and good follow-up skills
- Attention to detail
- Able to work well with Senior Executives and lead other team members
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Powerpoint
Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm (ability to work additional hours as required)
