Summary

The Driver is responsible for safely operating DeCrescente delivery vehicles and to insure the accurate and timely delivery of product. Additionally, the Driver is responsible for all associated paperwork and the collection of payments or sign off on invoices as appropriate. The position is responsible for complying with all company and NYS safety policies, practices and procedures.

Requirements

• Must possess a CDL A and be in good standing
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to push or pull up to 150lbs repeatedly throughout shift
• Must be able to maneuver handcarts with up to 240lbs
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication in addition to good problem-solving skills

Summary

The Merchandiser is responsible for stocking coolers and shelves neatly with product, constructing and maintaining product displays, and accurately pricing and rotating product. This position will record accurate daily account activity through usage of a company- issued Palm Pilot. This position will be required to maintain proper administrative work to be submitted on a weekly basis. Other activities include: pricing proper displays, maintaining assigned marketing material (i.e. base wrap, brand signage, etc.) and taking care of damaged product in assigned accounts. This position will also be responsible for maintaining professional and collaborative relationships at store level.

• 2 years general employment or equivalent combination of experience and education
• 1 year sales or merchandising related work experience
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Basic computer skills and advanced knowledge of Pocket PC’s

Summary

The Night Warehouse Selector is responsible for the safe and accurate selection, checking and loading of product on to route trucks. Based on the load sheet, the Night Warehouse Selector will retrieve product from the pick area and prepare for delivery. This position will be responsible for checking for breakage, loading trucks and maintaining housekeeping standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years experience in warehouse setting or equivalent combination of experience and education
• A minimum of 1 year related experience preferably within the beverage industry
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Valid Driver License

Summary

The Trainee is responsible for learning all aspects of the Beer Division Account and Zone Standards before route responsibilities are turned over. They service each account by assisting in the merchandising of product and by covering merchandising routes when necessary. This will include weekend work. The Sales Traines will assist in achieving the district sales and distribution goals, which have been established by Sales Management for all suppliers.

You will assist the Route Sales Representatives as well as Merchandisers and in order to learn the job requirements. By covering established sales and merchandising routes your duties will include: servicing customer accounts, ensuring that all DeCrescente customers have fresh merchandise to sell, and to establish and strengthen your own relationship building skills. A company training class will give the Trainee the proper background and knowledge of our company vision and misson.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
• 2-4 years related sales experience (may be substituted for educational requirement)
• Experience catering to targeted consumers
• Selling programs or brands in a retail environment

Summary

The Summer Night Warehouse Selector is responsible for the safe and accurate selection, checking and loading of product on to route trucks. Based on the load sheet, the Summer Night Warehouse Selector will retrieve product from the pick area and prepare for delivery. This position will be responsible for checking for breakage, loading trucks and maintaining housekeeping standards. Our summer positions typically begin in mid-May and last through Labor Day.
